Mobility power pack

mobility power pack is the light-weight energy alternative for previously used lead-acid battery and charger combinations - especially in connection with manoeuvring systems. The old lead-acid batteries were categorized as wet, gel and AGM batteries. All are extremely heavy due to the lead used. Such a battery at 75 Ah weighs approx. 25 kg. In the past years, these batteries were also increasingly used in caravans. On the one hand, it achieves independence from the power network and it also is an essential requirement for the use of increasingly popular manoeuvring systems.

The fundamental requirement to the development of the mobility power pack was the integration of power supply and charging technology; as well as a full replacement of the heavy lead-acid batteries for applications which require lots of power for short periods of time. The MPP also includes a charger which can add weight of approx. 1 kg with the old batteries. The Mobility Power Pack now replaces the 75 Ah battery with charger, e.g. for the operation of a manoeuvring system, completely and only weighs approx. 2.0 kg. In practice, the Mobility Power Pack was able to maneuver a 1,600 kg caravan for at least 15 to 20 minutes, depending on the situation.
