Just ask

The best ways to start the new camping season are being hotly discussed in the campen.de forum. After all, many people will soon want to go on a tour with their new easydriver manoeuvring drive. We will gladly provide a helpful answer to any of your questions – also on Facebook.

It’s good to know what you rely on

For example, somebody in the forum wanted to know whether the gearbox of the easydriver basic can withstand the high forces when cranking it onto the wheel. Clear answer: yes. The gearbox is made of highly resistant polymer and some force-transmitting parts are even made of metal.

We thus achieve the optimal combination of high stability and low weight. The approach path is also visually shown and limited by design, so that too high pressure is simply avoided.

In front or behind the axle?

A frequent question concerns the installation we recommend for the Opens internal link in current windoweasydriver pro and the easydriver basic. In principle, both drives can be mounted in front or behind the axle. This usually depends on the design of the chassis in the area where the device is screwed on and must be individually decided on for each caravan model.

You do not have to worry about splashing water when you install your easydriver behind the axle. The special material mix of the manoeuvring drive not only makes it light, but also sustainably protects it against corrosion. There are no differences in ground clearance between the easydriver pro and the easydriver basic – it is really good for both models.

What is the best power supply?

The best option for a power supply is an Optima battery. They have a particularly long service life and are therefore part of our special Opens internal link in current windowenergy sets. Quality is ultimately the decisive factor for many caravan fans. This is, for example, indicated by the question whether the easydriver manoeuvring aids are indeed made in Germany. The clear answer is once again: yes. All our drives are produced at our inventions workshop in Eschenburg, Hesse.
